Vivian Mwende

Vivian Mwende Wambua is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a graduate of Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) with a Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. Ms. Wambua is currently pursuing her Masters of Law (LLM) in Human Rights at the University of Nairobi. Ms. Wambua is an expert in legal litigation with a key focus on Strategic Impact Litigation (SIL), Human Rights Law and providing legal aid using the ‘survivor centered approach’ to vulnerable groups. . Ms. Wambua considers herself a strategist and her favourite quote is from Michelle Obama: “No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half its citizens.”
